Sustainability is a complex topic and we are not experts. While we continue to find ways to quantify sustainability, we have decided to focus on creating eco-conscious clothing. Mindfulness is at the core of everything we do. Our key values are to focus on minimizing waste, maintaining fair wage and ethical working conditions, and designing beautiful clothing for all sizes.  Fashion is not sustainable, and we are not greenwashing either. We forgo many designs and fabrics because they are not environmentally friendly. The challenge for us has been to find a balance between producing exceptionally gorgeous clothing and using the best sustainable fabrics.

We are still a very small business, and this makes us nimble. We don’t follow the typical fashion calendar, the number of styles we release and produce varies, and our business model allows us to design and develop new product within an extremely short time frame. Each style is designed digitally and as an eco-conscious company we try to limit printing and shipping during the development phase. Recycling fashion is actually very difficult, we are constantly researching new and innovative textiles to produce a sustainable and aesthetically valid product.

We can allocate resources toward sustainability because we are lean. At Currently we have the willingness to spend money on a sustainable product. Our goal is to be a part of the change required to foster an environmentally safe planet and educate the consumer on how to shop sustainably. Our team still consists of one person and we have a long way to go. We are working toward growing our team and investing in ways to measure sustainability at our company.
